What is a 'Trunk Show'?

Historically eyewear frame vendors would come by bringing a 'trunk' full of frames with frames displayed neatly inside.

So today playing on that tradition our version of a trunk show has evolved into a 'Trunk Show Party' much like today's on-site parties where various types of merchandise are sold.
